A Comparison of Maps
The images to the left and right are HGTV's and realtor's depictions respectively of the South Yarra neighborhood in Melbourne, Australia. Notable overlap is their choices of significant locations as the picking of the botanical gardens, points of interest for dining (note that both images depict wine glasses at a particular street corner, and the river. Where they differ is the depiction of major school locations on the right. It should be considered that Alex and Laura do not have children.
HGTV's use of B-Roll footage
HGTV's choice of B-Roll footage in this episode was very broad. They showed pictures of the urban skyline, the iconic kangaroos that are native to Australia, amongst other snapshots of Melbourne.
